๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Tom Strydom



Qualified as a veterinarian at the University of Pretoria's Onderstepoort Veterinary Faculty in 1989. Started career as a State Veterinarian in the Eastern Province of South Africa.

Joined private practice in the Western Cape for a while, returned to the Eastern Cape as a State Veterinarian and started with research mainly in parasitology at the SABS Veterinary Test Facilty in East London in1996.

In 2002 joined the Intervet Malelane Research Unit as Site Veterinarian and became the Test Facility Manager of the research unit in 2008. Intervet became part of Merck as MSD Animal Health in 2011.

Since 2015 became the Technical Director of Parasiticides in the Global Ruminant business of MSD Animal Health.
