Full Professor at the Animal Health Department of the Complutense University of Madrid. Director of the SALUVET research group. CEO of the spin-off SALUVET-Innova.
Main scientific interests concern the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and drug and vaccine development of protozoan diseases affecting ruminants.
He has published more than 300 SCI research articles and supervised 25 PhD students.
